The Kula Collection draws inspiration from the diverse and varied cultures of the South Pacific; a region where adornment was both a personal expression as well as representative of clan status and identity. Transforming rare tribal remnants and time-worn artefact from this region into modern expressions of heritage and connection to create modern day talismans.
The treasures incorporated in this collection were part of the age-old barter system known as Kula, a circular exchange system that has been in practice for many centuries across the Pacific rim. As these objects journeyed from island to island, they accumulated ‘mana’'; a sacred energy that bestowed power, status, and spiritual resonance upon their bearers.
The Kula collection is reimagined in hand-wrought 22k gold, and paired with precious pearls, raw diamonds and fine gemstones. These bespoke creations honour their origins while embodying refined contemporary luxury. Every jewel carries the spirit of its island heritage — a fusion of nature, culture, and artistry — celebrating imperfection, authenticity, and the enduring elegance of adornment.
